If you want, you can translate the menu translating the file 'menu.cfg'... (edit-->preferences-->menus or c:\windows\application data\kmeleon\profiles\.....\menus.cfg) You can find more info on how this file is structured visiting http://kmeleon.sourceforge.net/docs/menuscfg.php - I've already done it for Italian and so, if you have any problem, feel free to contact me and i'll try to help you!
The K-Meleon project needs also someone willing to implement an easy way of making K-Meleon translatable (at the moment, you can easily translate the menus but not the error messages or, for example, the preferences windows). If you're up to it, grab the source and go for it. For further specifications, and to announce your intent, contact the developers' list (http://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/kmeleon-dev).

for the moment, Resource Hacker is a fairly convenient way of gaining access to the strings for error messages and other dialogs... the latest versions will do this fairly elegantly... for those who don't want to (or can't) compile from the source.

Well... If i'm right, there is yet Christophe Ceccon who's translating menus in french... I think that someone could also update the french version of the web site... why not...
