I was using Kmeleon and having no problems with Java. I got a new computer and downloaded Kmeleon. Now I cannot get Java. I typed in about: plugins in the URL box and Java was not listed there.

My new computer has Windows XP. Could this have anything to do with it or have your guys taken Java out?

i think it was microsoft that took java out... wasn't it?

you might have to install it yourself.

hopefully somebody who knows something about XP can give you details.

Thanks. you are right.....Microsoft doesnt instasll the necessary Java files for Kmeleon. I downloaded them and it works fine now

If not, just go to Sun's web page.

sun has not yet realeased sth officially for xp.. what did you downloaded exactly? bye!

I dowloaded.Javasoft/JRE.......what you download to run Java in Mozilla.
