Can someone do this?

Tom's Hardware has done a browser comparison for Safari, IE, FF, Chrome and Opera.

The link is ---> http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/firefox-chrome-opera,2558.html

Can someone do the same "experiment" to K-Meleon and see how it fairs?

I am sure at the very least, the lean and mean K-M ought to beat all of them in the memory tests.

Please note that I am not endorsing this test nor can I claim it tests in the same fashion that the afore stated test does. It did however prove to be useful in that K-Meleon more than held it's own against the other half dozen or so browsers I tested it with using the same platform.

The benchmark test doesn't run for me. I have java disabled - could that be the reason?

Based on my toggling Java/JavaScript on my machine, yes.
When I ran the test, I enabled them both and on the Peacekeepr page, selected "Run without system scan".
At least it gave me relative numbers for each browesr (re-booted for each test). I realize this is a grey area and the page could be "optimized" for browser x y or z. It was just done out of curiosity.
