If you have rebar enabled you can go to preferences if you define
a macro. If you want that ALT-P opens the Preferences window:
1. Go to Edit / Prefences / Configs.
2. Click Accelerators tab
3. Add the following line:
ALT P = ID_PREFERENCES
4. Click OK button and restart your borowser. Now you should have a
working ALT-P as Preferences shortcut.
http://kmeleon.sourceforge.net/docs/commandid.php lists all the commands
you can call with different CTRL ALT SHIFT key combinations. Thus you can
customise your keyboard shortcuts. Look at Acceleratos tab to see
present shortcuts. Lines beginning with # are comments and you can also disable
existing keyboard macro if you start that line with #. Might be safer
than deleting the line ;-)
Configurig K-Meleon is fun. Especially if you have a little time to learn
how to define macros and accelerators. K-Meleon isn't just a browser.
It is a construction set. Too bad the default configuration is so boring.
A little more eye candy (new default skin), more accessibility options
and extended menus/popups (if it wouldn't bloat/slow down the little browser that could too much) would make a useful face lift and increase our
customer base! Better stop now before I start rambling :-)
