No, I don't have any problems, but I'm using the kmeleon for an application I developed. The problem is I'm having problems calling the JRE setup within my applications setup and therefore want to try to do a "fake" JRE installation. But that must be detected by kmeleon and so I have to know how a JRE is detected.

Ok, clearer now, but I cant help you there, sorry.

Maybe it could help to put your question in the developer forum, if you don't get a satisfiable reply here.

Marco:

Check out the source for the tests at http://gemal.dk/browserspy , especially the JRE detection test.
