Here e.g. Aldi (discount groceries) sells wireless broadband 30 day flatrate including 5 GB traffic for 14.95 Euro. Unles You download Linux distros or other iso-cd with programs You never use the 5 GB up in 30 days. Would be about the same with 3 GB.

You would set Your cache to reuse much often & refresh, download only when cache is out of date or once per session. Yes, maybe disable or bar images - it saves also - but not very much.
