New user with a few questions

1st off I'd like to say; I like this browser..
I am having a few problems I'm hoping someone can help me with.
I am unable to import my bookmarks from Firefox. I use Xmarks and was wondering whether this could be the reason.
I play a browser game called DarkOrbit it is a game that opens a second page for the game client (battle maps). The problem I have is I am not able to alter the size of the browser when I open the client side. It opens smaller than the default size as in other browsers I have used and would like to be able to adjust the size. I can't go full screen or drag the browser from the sides or corner to alter the size.
Sorry if this doesn't make much sense but it is a bit hard to explain.

Hi aussie-ian,

this should work for the "pop-up" window : F2>Gui appearance>popup windows> then check the box "allow all windows to be resized". There doesn't appear to be an option to open full-screen though perhaps one of the kind helpers here could cook up a macro for you...?

Unfortunately neither of these links are of any help.. The only bookmarks.html folder I have is /C:/Program%20Files/Mozilla%20Firefox/defaults/profile/bookmarks.html and dated 30/1/2010 and contains only the default Mozilla firefox bookmarks.Since I started using XMarks the bookmarks folder hasn't been updated.
I solved this.. I exported firefox bookmarks to HTML, saved it in documents and added the path to Kmeleon - netscape bookmarks. I will need to do this each time bookmarks in firefox change as I can't find a direct path to Xmarks.

Are the devolepers looking at intergrating support for XMarks at anytime in the future??

thanks mhf, checking the box worked for both resizing and full screen.

Hi aussie-ian,

Isn't that an Online Bookmarking Service? They probably have a way
to save/backup/export your online bookmarks to a FILE on
your PC. It's name doesn't matter - the suffix (.html) DOES.
Should be in their FAQs. Else make a new post with "Xmarks" in
its title here or with "hackup as html" in their forum.

EDIT --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Forget the above, I read a bit on their site. It really seems to be integrated
quite closely with the FiFo bookmarking system, so your solution probably
is THE solution.
If Xmarks can be used from IE, though, you might try a workaround that way
- provided you do not need your IE Favorites to be completely
separate from the FiFo/K-Meleon ones.
Note that IE favs are nothing but named URL shortcuts, each a file of its
own, sorted in folders, and you can activate using them from K-Meleon by
ticking the option in F2 -> K-M Plugins -> IE Favorites.

On the other hand, if you want to try a service catering for all browsers, you
may want to look for their exporting options before choosing. I think an option
for a scheduled, or at least oneButton, automatic backup to a local .html file
would be a good argument in favor of a service.

Are you tried to search "xmarks.xml" file in your local drives?
