Hallo,
How can I avoid the message
Script on this page is busy or does not answer any more ...
in German:
Script auf dieser Seite beschäftigt oder antwortet nicht mehr ...

I didn't find anything about that in the settings.
Thanks for help.

This I also want to know. On Lifehacker site, I always get this question multiple times. And surfing the other sites slows down.

Could I just stop execution of all scripts on that page?

AFAIK dom.max_script_run_time Access via Browser Configuration (URL about:config)

Caused AFAIK by either: big scripts or scripts with bugs (e.g. for other browser's Java Script enigine).

p.s. panzer: You can switch off JavaScript for the site if it is only advertising or other non essential things. You have to live with it on forum pages. To use 1.6 alpha with its faster JavaScript engine is IMHO also an option for script heavy pages.

I too experience this slow loading of most pages at Lifehacker but with out the script error warning. Though I do occasionally get the warning on other sites where I just click on No, Cancel or what ever and the page quickly loads with no apparent feature or functional problems, so I figure it is caused by a problem with the those particular sites.

I am going to try out the "Microsoft Fix it" at Lifehacker. It seems that lately MS has been trying to make their software products vary user friendly. Perhaps competition is finally getting to them.
