How do you change the height on the Layer and Bookmark bars?

They're dependent upon the size of their corresponding bitmap images. They don't get much smaller than the default configuration heights. You can decrease the height of the layer bar slightly if you remove it's layers.bmp from the skin folder. You increase the sizes of both bars by increasing the image sizes with alternate skins.

I found a way to work around it by making a larger back.bmp where a little piece of every bar is included in the picture..
