hello
when i receive pictures in my yahoo mail account when i clic on it to view it, the file doesn't open in an other layer as it would be done but it saved on my pc... it is the same problem when there is a page with mid sound in background for examble, instead of open it saved on my pc.
what to do please? )=
that is odd - i thought the new 0.9 does not have that with these file types?
edit mimetypes.rdf - that is the fie that governs that behaviour.
since that file is strict html of sorts - i suggest You replace the current file with one where You have set everything to Your likeing with another Gecko Program.
So if You have that file in a FF and set values to Your liking - use that.
else: there is a k-m called 0.8.2+ or wechselbalg that has a mime types editor
(some older k-m by Monkeesage have that also, he created the editor).
the exact html names of mime types needed for the editing can be found via google.
