Is there some way to install Windows Genuine Advantage Blocker in K-Meleon
( like one in Firefox)?
Thanks.

*Hadn't even heard of this genuine "advantage" crap until seeing this thread.*

The only blocker i can find for firefox is a greasemonkey script, is that what you were talking about? I don't know whether or not there's a way to use greasemonkey in KM. I did find these sites which give ways around this crap:
http://www.boingboing.net/2005/07/28/microsoft_genuine_ad.html
http://www.extended64.com/blogs/rafael/archive/2005/07/27/1026.aspx
http://www.frame4.com/cms/news/guides_&_papers/how_to_bypass_windows_genuine_advantage_check_on_windows_xp_200508047334.html

The first link provides a simple line of javascript that you can paste into the address bar to block the wga checker. You could also turn that into a bookmarklet tool. Just copy the code, click on bookmarks and then add/edit. Go down to the url line and replace the address there with the javascript, then set the title to anything you like and click OK.

I am not exactly sure why you want to block Windows Genuine Advantage. Microsoft provides a program that you can run that will extrapolate a number that you put into the query box when you want to download a program.

I think the idea here is to block the site from ever asking for that number. Even people who use legitimate copies of windows find the whole WGA thing intrusive and obnoxious. There also seem to be many complaints from WINE users that the WGA thing prevents them from downloading the stuff, even though their software is perfectly legit (it's just not an M$ product).

Many thanks, Drahken!
The first link does not work on IE, Firefox and K-Meleon. (At least, for me).
The second link (posted by Rafael Rivera) works excellent with Trixie in IE and
Greasemonkey in Firefox. I could not use the revelant script in K-Meleon.
The third link (alternative method) works good for any browser above and Windows
XP Pro SP1 and Windows 2000 SP4. I have them both.
My problem was Genuine Check Utility could not right determinate my legitimate copies of OS.
Thanks again.
