I am using KM 1.5.4 on an XP Home SP3 machine.

I just noticed that the status bar is missing. Here are the Preference settings regarding the status bar.

GUI Appearance; Full Screen tab:
Hide status bar is not selected.

GUI Appearance > Popup Windows tab:
Determine which window elements are not allowed to hide against your preferences: All items are selected.

js > General tab; Window Manipulation.
All items are selected.

js > General tab; determine which window elements scripts are not allowed to hide against your preferences: All items are selected.

K-Meleon Plugins > In Full Screen Mode: Hide status bar is not selected.

The last thing I recall doing prior to noticing that the status bar is missing is I upgraded IE6 to IE7. Does anyone have any idea how to fix this? I feel kind of like the "Emperor with no clothes" without the status bar.:O
