KeepVid not working.

How do, Folks?

I installed the KeepVid macro to User-Defined Macros in my 1.5.4, made sure to Save As All Files and restarted the browser but KeepVid is not in the Context menu when I click on a video such as on YouTube and it does not show up in the Tools menu. I have made sure that KeepVid is selected in Preferences > Macros. I have installed the macro several times but still it does not work. Can someone suggest what I might be doing wrong?

Thank you.

Option is in context menu: Send Page To -> KeepVid
Are you checked if there is some KMM error at Tools -> Error Console?

Thank you desga2.

When I click on KeepVid I get this error:

“The plug-in performed an illegal operation. You are strongly urged to restart K-meleon.”
When I clicked “OK” on the error message I get this error message:
“The new Java Plug-in requires a recent version of the Firefox browser (Firefox 3 or higher)”
When I click on “OK” again I get:
“The plug-in performed an illegal operation. You are strongly urged to restart K-meleon."
This time when I click on “OK” I get:
“The plug-in performed an illegal operation. You are strongly urged to restart K-meleon.”

After a moment the following message appears:

After restarting the browser including the Loader.exe the same problems occur.

These messages appear every time I try to use KeepVid, even after reinstalling the macro. I have also downloaded and installed the latest version of Java, (Javaâ„¢) 6 Update 23 although I already had this version.

For all Mozilla 1.8.x GRE based K-Meleons (K-Meleon version lower than 1.6):
copy npoji610.dll to

./program files/K-Meleon/plugins/npoji610.dll

from

./program files/Java/JRE6/bin/npoji610.dll

After recent Java Update to Version 6 - Subversion 21 or higher.

That is a known Java bug/problem which is the topic of several threads.

It makes that Java Applets etc. cause problems or do not run at all.

Retry after fixing this first.
