Ccleaner v 3.03.1366

This is NOT a K-meleon problem. But I thought you all could
give me some insight as to what is going on with Ccleaner.
I am using V 1.6.0 of K-meleon.
Ccleaners previous version 3.02.1343 worked just fine. Now they
have added K-meleon to their list of things to clean.
The previous version took about 3 seconds to execute at
startup. The current version takes almost a minute. Unacceptable.
Ccleaner claims it is caused by K-meleon. That doesn't help
me a bit. Hate to think that Ccleaner is going down the drain.
It's been a great program for a long time.
If you can spare the time......

Funny thing is I have CCleaner 3.03.1366 as well. But I don't see K-Meleon listed. There's Fx and Chrome as the only two browsers in the Applications tab. Internet Explorer is in the Windows tab. I was fully expecting to see a section for K-Meleon but I don't see it anywhere.

Where do you see it?

As for the start-up time, I don't run CCleaner at start-up. Just once a day before shut-down. And I don't see any slow down there. I have KM 1.6 beta 2.

In edit: Okay, I just checked on the piriform forum and a mod there indicated that K-Meleon is covered under Firefox. Maybe that's why I don't see it separately. Bit unfair if I wanted to have different settings!

Thank you very much Vasa1 for taking your time to answer.

I know Ccleaner advises only running Ccleaner at shutdown.
I run it at start up because I have a two way firewall setup
and I get to see how much junk is trying to be sent out
of my Puter without my permission. I thought that by running
Ccleaner at start up I might be able to thwart some of this.

I also looked for K-meleon and couldn't find it. You are right
it is part of the Firefox mess.
Might have to start looking for a replacement for Ccleaner.
All programs seem to go this way after a time. Pity...

I tried running the latest Ccleaner on Wiffies puter.
It is using IE and Windows XP Pro.
No Problem. Ccleaner at startup ran in about 3 seconds.
So it is Ccleaners use of Firefox and their treatment
of K-meleon that is causing the problem IMHO.

I'd tell the CCleaner folks that I will stop using CCleaner because of this in the very slight possibility that they might fix the application.

I have told them.
See my post there misspelled: observation about V 3.03.1306 of Ccleaner.
Should be v 3.03.1366.
No new fix out for the problem yet.
I'm running a previous version until......

Yes, in Crap Cleaner 3.03.1366 the "Firefox/Mozilla" is K-Meleon.
I don't have any other Mozilla browser on my windoze PC and that's how it appears in CC.
I wonder if someone has FF and K-M what it would appear as? Two "Firefox/Mozilla" entries in CC's Applications settings? Hmm...

I have both but there's just the single Firefox option.
