Lots of youtube videos are VEVO. I cannot get any of them to play. I get the black screen with the little scrolling circle of dots that goes on forever. Does the same in Firefox. When I try to run a VEVO clip on IE vers 6.0.2 I'm told that "your browser is no longer supported"
What must I do to watch VEVO clips in Kmeleon?

I am Sorry. You have to wait till Americans are online and in this Forum.
Only PPL from Canada and the US can possibly help You some more.
The reason You have problem is probably (IMHO) bandwidth.
AFAIK VEVO is a site and a provider not a MIMEType aka Internet Media Type.
Youtube Generally?
Make sure that You have a recent flash player and enough bandwidth to get the video loaded. That is AFAIK enough.
I have not yet encountered a Youtube clip that does not load with the Flash player. That is on the pages where I can get service!
You mean Vevo Channel on Youtube?
On some Youtube pages they are only telling me that I cannot view the content because the record companies do not allow their clips to be payed on Youtube for German IPs (=in Germany).
On example where this constantly happens is http://www.youtube.com/VEVO
I could try via Proxy - but then I would get what You describe because I do not get the bandwidth. I have not found a solution yet.
You can try with K-Meleon1.6beta and send the UserAgentString of Firefox to make sure that the site is not barring You because You use a browser unknown to them (standard procedure when You suspect this). 1.6 supports the same HTML 5 media types as Firefox 3 - as additional benefit.
Maybe try to load things in the background. That is the only help I can think of right now.

1.6 should work if You spoof FFox 3. AFAIK they cannot detect any difference.
Unless I use an US/CA proxy (which is too slow) I only get this (since the videos are only available in the US and in Canada and You'd probably see the Spanish version of it):

That video played fine for me with 1.6(b2) with no user agent spoofing required.
I was saying 1.1.6, guenter, not 1.6
Anyway, as I say, sometimes gives problems. Is a mistake why. Maybe their ads or whatever.
