Backspace-key for navigating back

I really like K-Meleon, but one function I really miss, is the backspace-key for navigating back to the last visited page. I realized I obviously use it pretty often in Firefox and Opera, so I wish for that key/funtion in K-Meleon as well to experience the same comfort when surfing the web...

However, I have figured out that I can insert the following line in accel.txt:
VK_BACK = ID_NAV_BACK
This gives me the wanted result as far as navigation is concerned, but it prevents backspace from deleting text/characters in the address bar for example...

So I am wondering if there is a different file or position I need to edit?
Any help appreciated...

Thanks in advance!

The function is implemented in the 1.0 betas, but cannot
be applied in 0.9 versions because of the double function
mentioned by you. A remplacement could be
CTRL VK_LEFT = ID_NAV_BACK
in accel.cfg , to use Ctrl on the right hand side
together with the Arrow left.
I use that myself together with CTRL VK_RIGHT
for forward and CTRL VK_DOWN for closing
windows (or tabs), all with the right hand.
If you need CTRL VK_LEFT for an other function,
it can also be SHIFT VK_LEFT.

Thanks for the answer!

So I guess I'll have to wait for the 1.0 and hope it will be released soon...
