I have been using K-Meleon v. 154 for a quite a while. Recently, it has begun to lose all of my preference settings. I set the preferences, and have no trouble of any kind with the browser, but when off the computer and turn it back on, my settings are gone. Anybody have any thoughts or suggestions?

You somehow managed to lose writing rights in your profile folder.
Open that folder with Edit > Configuration> Profile folder, go one level higher and right-click on that folder (random name) to check the security settings. Is that folder inside the programs folder, or inside your windows user account? The latter should usually allow custom changes.

But since this happened only later, perhaps you changed something about some windows security tools? Some new system/cleanup/protection tools, looks like they're quite infamous for preventing any user changes?
