K-M and Session Cookies

I copied my hostperm.1 file from my Firefox 1.5.0.9 profile to my K-M 1.02 profile. The file seemed to work just fine, until I noticed in K-M when viewing my cookies exception list that K-M did not seem to understand the Code 8 (session cookies) for cookies. Seems K-M only understands Code 1.

Additionally, in the K-M cookies exception dialog box, there is no button for Allow for Session, like in Firefox. Yes, I know K-M and FF are not the same, but seems something as elemental as session cookies within the exceptions list should be supported.

Am I correct that K-M cannot be configured this way or am I missing something? How do I configure the K-M cookies exception list to accept session cookie configurations?

As far as I can tell, km supports session cookies (code 8 is understood). It's just that our cookie dialogs don't provide the necessary controls i.e. you have to set code 8 manually in hostperm.1.

Thanks. I've posted an Improvement Request in the appropriate forum.
