i changed the setting to layer(tab) only browsing, but now, regular javascript popup windows opens also in new tabs and not in a window. how can i change this? i checked all options, but nothing happens. when i changed back to normal settings, i cannot set setting that links from external apps opens new layer. i can set open in current layer, but this is not that what i like.

You can't. The option "Use Layers Only" does what it says: "Open all new windows as layers"
That's right. This option only works in layers only mode.

That's right. This option only works in layers only mode.
