Hi,

I tried the serach function on the forum and folowing instructions but I can't work out how to change or add google.co.uk to my serach engine button?

In KM 1.0 do I go to: Edit, Configuration, Search Engines, then what? A big long list of search engines comes up in note pad, by how do I change or add?

Many thanks

Regards

No problem, I fortunately still have my answer in the
cache, so I can send it again :

This list of search engines can be enlarged by you.
I suppose that you want Google UK to search for websites,
that are in the UK only. Add at the appropriate place of
the alphabet the following line :

GoogleUK=http://www.google.co.uk/search?meta=cr%3DcountryUK%7CcountryGB&q=

Close the browser first and
save the file Search.cfg to its origin, not as "text" but as "All Files".
(the corresponding folder will pop up, when you try to save).

Restart the browser and go to
Edit-->Advanced Preferences-->Browsing-->FindingWebsites-->Websearch
and click on the dropdown menu of a search engine, that you want to replace
by Google UK. Select in the dropdownlist Google UK and close the window
and then the browser with all open windows.
After a restart, you should find Google UK in the list, when
right clicking on the globe button.
