hi, im using pocket k-meleon. i just found out today theres an update, i was wondering, what files should i not overwrite when overwriting so i could preserve my current settings.

I did not see your post, but guenter kindly pointed it out to me.

If you do NOT have extra plug-ins or skins installed that you downloaded separate from the original Pocket K-Meleon program, you can do the following and it should work:

1. Unzip the new version into a new folder. Perhaps name the folder
"Pocket K-Meleon 1.1.2".
2. There is a "Profiles" folder for the former version of Pocket K-Meleon. Within
this folder there is another folder named "Profile". Replace the folder
"Profile" in the new version with the folder "Profile" from the old version.
3. Open the new Pocket K-Meleon and your previous bookmarks, toolbars, etc.
should be as before.

Reply to this string if this does not work.

If Step 2. is confusing, reply with the name of your old Pocket K-Meleon folder AND the name of your new Pocket K-Meleon folder and I will respond with a more detailed step-by-step description.

If you installed separate plug-ins or skins in the old version of Pocket K-Meleon that were NOT included with the Pocket K-Meleon program (such as Ad-Block Plus, for instance - Note: I am not referring to any plugins that are included with the program, like Bookmarks or Favorites - only those you may have downloaded separate from the original Pocket K-Meleon program), please reply with the name of the extra plug-ins or skins.
