I read somewhere that about 10% of all web surfing is done with javascript disabled. How many K-Meleon users (spoofing or not) do you think do this? Given that Gecko browsers in total have about 16% market share, do you think surfing sans javascript is primarily an anyone but IE user?

I think we shoukldn't assume anything.
I use an ie shell browser and k-meleon - both are shielded behind the active content plugin of my firewall which only has javascript allowed for sites I know and trust, otherwise I browse with javascript [& cookies, activex, vb script scripting activex, java applets, hidden frames] globally disabled.
I have a guess regarding this, and that is one whereby I would say that many users are trying their hand on surfing the net with protection layers produced by applications like Sandboxie (http://www.sandboxie.com - there is a free version) and BufferZone (http://www.trustware.com - a free version is available). However, I am not sure how secure surfing is using these programs. You take it just as a trend suggestion as regards nowadays surfing protection options.
