currently firefox is my primary browser.
wanted to set K-Meleon as primary then the the installer program started to set K-meleon as primary. But it didn't work because firefox still opens all links from other programs.
can anyone help.

Go and try: Edit > Adanced Preferences > Browsing > Set As Default Browser
This commands the OS to use K-Meleon as default handler for several mimetypes and protocols. That Setdefault did not do it on the first try can indicate that Your OS is slowly getting less responsive. Lets hope...
An ancient workaround to an OS not accepting such protocol changes.
Make IE default browser and run K-Meleon Setdefault.exe after that.
If neither helps I am out of answers.
