K-Meleon Web Browser Forum
All of a sudden, when I try to open my K-Meleon broswer I get a Microsoft Visual C++
Runtime Library error message that says "Runtime Error" ...
"C:\Program Files\K-Meleon\K-Meleon.exe
This application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way. Please contact the application's support team for more information."
What's going on? What caused this and more importantly, how do I fix it? Do I need to uninstall K-Meleon and then re-install it? thanks!

Perhaps a problem with the profile.
Try to create another profile to see if it's good. Then you just have to keep your bookmarks, and some other files in profile folder.

IconCache.dat :/
Yes, I had this problem the other day (the first time it happened to me) and after checking (deleting with a previous backup) all of the profile files, it was the IconCache.dat. Why does it get corrupted? Who knows :/
If I could get one of those corrupted IconCache.dat, it would help me to fix this problem.
I'm not even going to look at its content!

Uffff, let me see, I did a backup as I said, but just a copy of the folder. When I fixed it, bye, bye folder.
I make backups in rar time to time and the profile too, this because I'm having another problems with computer crashes not related to K-meleon but that affect it (loosing cookies file overall). But well, I'm almost sure that no one is the affected by iconcache.dat.

The copy of the folder I have got hasn't the iconcache.dat corrupted file. Sorry. And neither the backups :/
