When I ran the EXE installer for 1.5,it prompted me to install K-Meleon here:

C:\Program Files\K-Meleon1.1\

Shouldn't it prompt to install in 1.5? Or is this because 1.1 was already installed?

The installer will default to where it finds a previous K-M installed. The installer will allow you to place the install in a different folder or it will allow you to create a new folder completely. then install your new K-M.

Now - this is important - If you want your previously installed K-M to run in addition to your newly installed K-M, be sure to uncheck the multi-user preference when you install your new version.
