Is there a text or config file somewhere that I can edit to add extra user strings to K-Meleon? The fact that it only has 2, and neither of them is IE7, is beginning to grate on me.

I added IE 7 under Tools > User Agent > Custom.

Try IE 8 user agent it has possibly also altered, more standart compliant JavaScript. But IMHo it is best to use other Gecko strings.
