Does anyone know how to turn off the sound that is played when Find (CTRL+F) doesnt return anything?

I have tried going to Browser Configuration and changing accessibility.typeaheadfind.enablesound = true to accessibility.typeaheadfind.enablesound = false

But this didn't work!!!! I have also tried changing the sound to something else and this didn't work either!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Please help.
Thanks

this sound is from windows, so you can't disable it from k-meleon.

you got 2 ways to remove that sound:

1- open windows control panel>sounds audio devices>sounds tab> remove wave sound associated with asterisk

2- in the find tab in k-meleon> click on the 'wrap around button'=no more sound

edit: sorry, number 2 only works when the keyword already exists on the page

there's number 3:
-mute volume

I'm use extreme 1 variation:

1 EXTREME: Open Windows control panel -> Sounds & Audio device -> Sounds tab ->
Select profile/theme/scheme: No sound
