how do you import bookmarks from firefox?

Just copy the bookmarks.html file from Firefox to K-Meleon profile folder, or modify the bookmarks.html location (F2 > K-Meleon Plugins > Bookmarks > browse for the location).

ok where's the K-meleon Profile folder then?

err found it and copied to the folder.. But I ain't seeing any of the bookmarks from FF?

I said profile folder, but I think profiles\default\xxxxxxx.slt, something like that.

If you have installed with default options, it must be under Documents and Settings\<YourWindowsProfile>\Applications Data\K-Meleon\default\xxxxxx.slt

You must found a bookmarks.html. Replace it by the firefox one and launch K-Meleon

Don't forget to close the Loader, if you use it, to releoad the profile.

You can access your profile directory in menu Edit -> Configuration -> Profile Directory, here overwrite bookmarks.html by your Firefox bookmarks.html file.
