whenever i open facebook from k-meleon, the bar that comes on the bottom doesnt work. its like its a still picture . i click on the facebook chat and nothing happens .

Are you tried to change User Agent string to Firefox?
Tools -> User Agent -> Firefox

I am glad to hear it worked in Your case.

But I wonder why it does not work for Mohi.
@Mohi try create a extra, new Profile & set User Agent to Firefox.
That gives Your K-Meleon's default settings with only other user string.
Default settings were chosen because they work for most sites - they might help.

When you changed the User Agent you need reload the webpage to new User Agent take effect in the webpage.
