I just got through loading 25 (got board and quit at 25) windows and the memory usage fluctuated between 40 and 50MB (mostly 45M. At this point tabs usually consume about 140BM on my system. Better than I experience with tabs. And page rendering was still at about 4 seconds as with tabs. Just thought I would mention it since there seems to be some concern about KM using a lot of mem on some systems. But personally, I am going to stay with tabs as it is usually easy to identify page titles where as windows just show the KM iron. And the additional mem sometimes used by tabs is not a problem.

That's not true, in fact 1.5.2 eats more memory than 1.5.1�_�

Hence the subject line "Re: 1.5.1 low mem usage with windows vs tabs"

Personally, I don't plan to embark on 1.5.2 until it has been out of beta for a while.
