I was in the Past on FF but K-meleon works much faster and till now also more secure, i've only problems with composing of e-mails with hotmail, i cant type the letter? what should i change, pls explain me slowly what to do, i'm new to this browser
Set User Agent String to firefox (Done in Submenue of Tools also in Security).
You also need Cookies and active Java Script for this kind of web application.
Hotmail has a severe bug in its browser recognition scripts. Hotmail, Yahoo mail, GMail and some other sites do not correctly detect compatible browsers. They cannot pretend that they and their IT professionals are so stupid not to know better ergo they do it intentionally. The problem is a "FAQ". You find it discussed in a number of Forum threads. & K-Meleon is not the only browser effected from this deliberate sabotage.
