I don't know how to uninstall except to delete all associated files. Here is how to go back to the default or any other theme.

Edit, then go to preferences, Gui Appearance, then you can see a tab under the word skin. Phoenity is the default skin. Change it then close out of preferences and restart the browser

I am not that smart. I don't hold a candle next to disrupted, desga, panzer, fred, or guenter. I learned all this stuff from them. Sorry if I left anyone out.

I honestly don't clear anything so I don't know what to recommend.

Go to Edit > Preferences > GUI Appearance.
Be advised that when a skin is changed it can also change or undo some custmizations.
I think there is a means to save or protect your profile but I never understood how it's done. But I am sure some one will weigh in in the matter, so I would hold my breath.grinning smiley

If you have not already done so, it may be helpful to check out http://kmeleon.sourceforge.net/wiki/MacroLibrary

I don't know how to compare. I feel every browser has its place. I like how people bicker over everything online that is reviewed. Its just comes down to personal preference. I base my browsers on this:

What engine does it use?

Does it use a lot of memory?

Does the look really matter?

Does it offer anthing else that my current browser doesn't use?

That sums it up but back to what you have asked. I used opera and when I reformatted my windows I never reinstalled it. At the time I was using Opera 10 alpha. It has a new Presto engine that to me is extremely fast especially for me being on dialup 90% of the time. I have discussed this here in the past. It is a nice looking browser. I also like how you can right click and it can show you everything that can be blocked on the page. To me though it didn't add anything that would make me replace KM as my default browser.

I stick with KM because as you will find out its ease of use, it's light memory, and every option is a butoon or one or two clicks away and not hidden deep in the browser. Plus I like the people here at the forums.

I can see your point that happened to me about a year ago to lol. If you are not used to moving your toolbars around its like doing one of those slide puzzles lol. You almost get it where you want and boom everything went to crap lol

@ reeko124

I share your sentiments regarding Opera 10a. And rarely use it my self. BTW, do you where to find the Go button for it's URL bar?

Found this elsewhere I didn't write this:

Right click anywhere on the toolbar and select "Customize..."

On the top of the "Appearance" window that comes up click the "Buttons" tab.

In the list on the left select "Browser View"

On the right side drag the "Go" button to where you want it on the tool bar and drop it there.

This is me again. I never used the go button as I don't even use it in KM so I just searched for that and I hope it helped you

Are you trying that on Opera or KM? If it is opera I have no idea I haven't had it installed for 3 months.

The directions I gave him were for Opera and not KM. I can see where you were confused. I was for a minute.

Speeaking of confusion, I had almost complete instructions for the post at http://kmeleonbrowser.org/forum/read.php?1,92654

But like my drill instructor used to say, "It's Good training, real good training."
