I installed a user-defined macro for bookmarking, but I'm clueless as to how to use it. Please, step-by-step in layman's terms. I'm not a programmer. TIA

Actually, it's one of yours, and I figured out the Web Marker macro (thanks for that, btw, but could you possibly add Twitter?)
Now I'm having problems adding this one.

I extracted everything to the k-meleon folder, and the GUL icon is in the tools folder, but I don't know how to access it, or use it, because no matter how many times I restart KM, it doesn't show up in the Tools dropdown.

you're very welcome and yes it's very doable to add twitter to web marker, i just need the twitter submit or post string.. i'll look into it and hopefully it will work
using gul extension(bookmark plus) adds menus in these locations
if you have the favourites plugin enabled: in favorites menu> bookmarker and bookmark plus
in the page context menu(right-clicking on the page) bookmarker and bookmark plus
bookmarker command opens gul.exe without any passed parameters(so you can add bookmarks manaully as gul supports drag and drop)
bookmark plus opens a dialog displaying the preconfigured folders(you cann't change them unless you edit the autoit source which is included).. then you can select a folder and it will add the current page to that selected folder in gul.
webmarker now includes sharethis service enabling the exact same features available with the firefox plugin
webbookmark plus with addition of toolbar button

You are unbelievably awesome! The only two add-ons I used on FF were shareholic and ABP, and I have both on KM now, with a much faster browser.
Now, if you great guys can resolve the Facebook and Hotmail problem, we're good. (Yes, I do use Facebook, and yes, I know it's probably a government conspiracy, but what isn't these days? Since I get public assistance, I'm already on their radar, so I'm not worried about it.)
you mean facebook missing some features? or hotmail compose problems? that's bad browser-sniffer in both sites that search for firefox instead of gecko. to fix this, just change the useragent to firefox(tools menu>user agent>firefox 2.0) when accessing those websites.
you can send them feedback email "you are idiots, please visit http://geckoisgecko.info to learn how to code browser-sniffers" .. or something similar.. be creative
