no..works from statusbar(xul-interface dependant)

there are 2 ip-related extensions there
http://kmext.sourceforget.net

1 displats website ip in a toolbox(dispip) with button to get more info from whois
the other constip displays website ip in the kmeleon titlebar

also mark made an ip kplugin toolbar
