But you must be careful doing things that require a KM restart. Might have to shut down the autoloader and restart it also.

What's the correct way to shut & restart.

When I make a change that requires a restart, I shut the autoloader.exe in task manager.

Close KM browser.

Restart it.

Click on autoloader in Programs> Startup ones.

Should I shut it from it's icon at the Lt bottom corner next to the clock?

If yes than how do I restart auto loader after restarting KM browser?

What should be it's settings in config.......Preload Browser engine (Default)?

Thanks again James, I appreciate your assistance.

there's an extension "super restart" that enables restart and exit with loader so changes you make take effect without worrying about terminating loader.exe and restarting it again because it will automatically do it for you. it adds 2 menu commands under file>restart super|exit super

filed under enhancements:
http://kmext.sourceforge.net/ext7.htm

note: don't use regular k-meleon restart with loader and vice versa, don't use restart super if you don't use loader.exe

extract the package in k-meleon's root folder just as reeko have mntioned
loaderrestarter.kmm should go to k-meleon\macros folder
kmsuperexit.exe should go in k-meleon's root folder..right inside k-meleon folder

reboot the computer..the new entries will be under file menu at the bottom of the menu

@disrupted

If I can't get this done I won't be able to make ANY changes in KM that would need a restart.

Am I the only who uses autoloader.exe?

Thanks.

just extract them as mentioned and reboot the computer..you won't need to reboot again, then whenever you make changes select restart super from the menu.

ed: i know charlie(caktus) uses autoloader and uses restart super without problems. you just need to reboot the computer once..ok?

Thanks disrupted......I'd reboot & let you know whether those 2 commands come under file?

One would be shut & the other to restart autoloader.exe?

Regards!

Hi @disrupted,

I unzipped the KM Restart Super files & not the Plus one.

There were 4 files.....send all 4 to KM root folder as reeko suggested.

But than I read your reply, so again sent

1. loaderstarter.exe> KM Macro > Macro.

2. kmsuperexit.exe to root.

Did a reboot as you suggested & now I have 2 commands under File....SuperRestart & Super exit.

kmsuperexit.au3 is in xsrc & readme-imp-ksme.TXT file root....is that OK?

Did I do every thing rightly?

Thanks again.

Hi disrupted what should be the configuration of autoloader......autoloader icon > Rt click config > Preload browser engine is the default.........any suggestions on that?
