I want to turn off k-meleons thing that when you press backspace it goes up on the webpage...

Like.. I press backspace, and for whatever reason it goes back to previous page... annoying, especially on pure flash websites...

Well, so does it go up one level or does it go back in history??? Either I don't get it or you're contradicting yourself *riddling*
The latter is default in just about all browsers I guess, and makes a lot of sense. At any rate, if you want to change the actions of shortcut buttons, look for a file named accelerators, that's how this is called in KM...

If you really don't wish to have that function, then do as siria said and put a # symbol at the start of the line which has "VK_BACK = ID_NAV_BACK" in the file accel.cfg. The # will change that line to a comment.
