Thanks jsnj. Unfortunately, I haven't been able to open a document with Google viewer yet. I keep getting error messages:
Sorry, this type of document is not supported for viewing.

you must be selecting a format not supported by google docs
i've tested it and i'm sure matt the author of gdocs have tested it thoroughly as well.. it never gave me problems with a file format that is supported
just make sure that the link you are selecting is indeed a supported document first

Did some more testing... I can only open documents when I am not logged in. When I log out, it works. When I restart K-Meleon,log in my Google account, then I can no longer open documents in the viewer.

Must be my computer. I'm getting error messages as well with Zoho Viewer. Oh well, I'll look for a light PDF reader.

Very strange. Same thing with Zoho. Documents will open in the Zoho viewer only if I am not logged in my Google account.

Oh no, that's a pity, seeing that 'basically' it works. There must be some trick, perhaps anyone can figure it out.
If it's just for a pdf viewer, everyone says they love foxit. For my old win98 it's still a bit too heavy though, but sumatrapdf works okay so far. Definitely lightweight, 1,2 MB , but really very, VERY basic ;-)

that's very weird.. i tested myself, with one tab logged in googlemail and the other i opened a doc in gdocs..no problem. do you have any np plugin in kmeleon like google video chat or google gear whatsit installed? if you ask me sounds like google has something cooking on your system.. if it's not too much trouble, try testing with a new profile with default settings..maybe it works(edit>manage profiles>create new>ask at startup check>restart>select new profile)
foxit has a pdf browser plugin, i've never used it personally but people say good things about it but that will only be for pdf.. like siria i use sumatra and prefer opening files locally instead of online(cloud apps) or with a plugin.. it's even weirder that it affects zohoviewer which if i'm not mistaken isn't related to google in any way

What an unpleasant surprise
Ok, Pierre, save
this macro (name it i.e. sendtogdocs.kmm) in your macros folder. Now test if it works (rigt click link > Send to Google Docs) when you are logged in your google account.
I didn't run into any problems using gdocs or zoho viewer but I don't have a g account (and don't plan to have one). Mayby it's cookies related problem like disrupted said.
Third time lucky ;-) try this out ->

PS I like Sumatra too and also
Cool PDF Reader - standalone exe, no installation, 650KB weight.

Thank you all. The macro didn't work either. However, "View Docs Online" works perfectly. So I'll stick with it for now. Thanks again.
