I looked at this page -

but the downloads & instructions look extremely out-of-date.

I went to this page -
http://flashblock.mozdev.org/installation.html
and downloaded an .xpi (zip) archive for FlashBlock 1.3.15.

I extracted the contents of the archive, but am not sure what to do next. I tried simply copying the extracted files to equivalent K-meleon sub-folders, but K-m didn't seem to take notice of them: Nothing new shows up when I put "about:plugins" in km's address bar.

What next??

Flashblock is already present in K-Meleon since 1.1 (I think)

To activate it :

F2 > Content Filter > Validate Flashblock

No need to keep xpi which isn't adapted to K-Meleon

My memory is not real good, but was there not a problem with flashblock on 1.5.3 and we got a replacement file "embed.jar" to fix it? I have the embed.jar and a readme that says to replace the orginal, but I did not save a link to the forum thread.

Ouch... I too don't remember if I did use a replacement embed.jar or not. Institutional memory is lacking once again. SIGH
