Can't View Pages

I am trying to demo k-meleon for my company (we use a proxy). I've installed the most recent version but when I try and show something as simple as cnn.com (or any other website) I get the following in the browser window- and nothing else:
<body></body>
I've set the proxy configuration up the same way that I have my IE setting (which work) and I've started and stopped the browser a few times. Any ideas what has gone awry?

Often you can't view pages because they are using a version of flash not supported by Kmeleon.

Edgar,
What proxy settings are you using? There is an issue with the auto proxy configuration thay may be part of the problem. See the Release Notes for more info or contact me. My e-mail is in the Help - About K-Meleon info.
