Hi all

I am using K-Meleon 1.5.4 and my OS is Windows XP SP3

I get used to using "Ctrl" plus "forward mousewheel" to make words/characters look bigger on the screen

("Ctrl" plus "forward mousewheel" default to make fonts smaller, instead bigger)

I want to configure the setting so that this hotkey meets my need

but I cannot figure out where to change this setting

(I have checked Preferences and Configuration many times but still found nothing related to this setting...)

Can anyone help me out on that?

Hmm... no idea if someone may find a trick, so far I only find a mozilla link, but it has no setting for the direction: http://kb.mozillazine.org/About:config_entries#Mousewheel.

Add this line to your user.js file.

user_pref("mousewheel.withcontrolkey.action", 3);

He like to invert the default behavior Ctrl + MouseWheel zoom.
The pref and value you indicated is default behavior in K-Meleon 1.5.x.

I think this is a Gecko property, in KM 1.5.x (Gecko 1.8.1.x) the behavior is:
Ctrl + MouseWheel up -> zoom out
Ctrl + MouseWheel down -> zoom in

In Gecko 1.9.x (you can try it in KM 1.6a3) this mouse wheel behavior is inverted:
Ctrl + MouseWheel up -> zoom in
Ctrl + MouseWheel down -> zoom out

Also scroll wheel gestures isn't supported yet in K-Meleon 1.5.x.
But you can test Hao's K-Meleon CCF ME version. This have a more advanced mouse gesture plugin that support scroll wheel gestures.
