I have two browsers fired up right now. Both the same page.

And at both browsers I kept hitting "Control -" (whith is "control" key and the "minus sign" key) until it can't go further.

See the difference?

My question is, why the stark difference ?

To see the differences you'd have to post 2 screenshots ;-)

But consider that there are user settings for font families and *minimum* font sizes. Most likely your browsers have just different settings for this:

Edit > Preferences > Page Display > Fonts

... plus, differences in what the "Ctrl minus" accel really does (Text Zoom in KM? versus Zoom All in FF?)
