Fading site icons

I got this problem with favicons getting a faded look with use over some time presumably when IconCache.dat gets larger. Is this a known problem?

My settings:
browser.chrome.favicons = true
Win XP 32 bit color

Seems to be a bug like you are indicating because the icon cache is very big.
Can you said us what is the size of IconCache.dat file when this start happend?

Didnt notice the size when it start happening but the icons were fading progressively. The file is about 1mb now and some icons are quite badly affected.

Try to delete the IconCache.dat file to clear the cache.
