How to stop annoying popups ??

Hello gang;

I am using 1.5.4 ..

Been noticing annoying pop-ups of jpegs loaded on a page displayed everytime
I go to a new link..

I disabled docinfo on the Macro Extension page but it persists.

Anyone know how to stop the popups or bubble of extraneous info ??

Many of the popup are likely due to Javascript. Turn Javascript off and try the same sites to see if the popups continue. A good automatic control of Javascript is to use Policy Manager extension.

It turns out it's not Javascript ..:-(

I also disabled Balloontips in the XP registry but it's still happening ..

I hope there are some answers ..

Are the jpeg images different for each site or are they the same for every site? Try this site http://members.perigee.net/jmd8421r/ and let me know if any images are popups. The site is safe. It is my trip to the western US a few years ago. Note that the site is all images, but nothing is to popup unless you click on a folder.

Wow, it did NOT happen on your site ..

What do you think is the difference ??
