K-Meleon Web Browser Forum
In an attempt to reduce the volume of spambots at MozillaZine, they have screwed things up royally. In the last few days, you may or may not be able to get in as IE6 and IE7 and other browsers (like KM) have been locked out. Today, this error (which has shown up before) is what you get when you try to get there.
General Error
SQL ERROR [ mysql4 ]
User 'mozine_forums_rw' has exceeded the 'max_user_connections' resource (current value: 50) [1226]
An sql error occurred while fetching this page. Please contact an administrator if this problem persists.

MozillaZine develops a Microsoftish behavior about other browser vendors & users.
p.s. alter UserAgentString to: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8.1.25pre) Gecko/20100308 K-Meleon/1.5.4 not Firefox/2.0.0.25pre
They use the same dumb JS switch as everybody. You can replace the "not" with
a pejorative word of Your choice. :drool:
Comes nice on pages that show Your UserAgentString under Your post.

With 1.5.4 http://forums.mozillazine.org/ takes me to the forums index page. While some Google links take me to error pages such as:
This is a simple web page.
It's simple because your browser is old, and this is all it can be trusted to handle.
Please, upgrade to something that's not only secure, but able to show you the web the way it's meant to be seen.
Mozilla Firefox -- Google Chrome -- Opera
All three are faster, more secure, and offer a much better web experience. Thanks!
If you insist on ignoring the above advice, you will need to upgrade Internet Explorer.
But I have to ask; If FF/Moz won't let us access their forums, who really cares?!

I just went to the page http://forums.mozillazine.org/ using KM 1.6.0 beta2 and I saw the index page. Just to check I also went there with IE8 and it looked the same.
Did Mozilla fix something?

Yup, so it seems. The fellow who did the changes there has reverted to the old method until such time as he "sorts" out what to do next.
