I am not sure. I went to site with KM 7431 and could only hear the children. I then went to preferences and un-checked Flashblock. When I reloaded the page I could see and hear the children. I don't use a whitelist for flashblock.
One thing is that the page is presenting HTML 5 video first and flash second. There is an item in the upper left corner to change that.

Correct me please if I am wrong but since we are at it, there is no way in K-Meleon to effectively block flash.
The FlashBlock extension merely prevents flash content to be played, while the content gets loaded in the background.
Only solution I have found so far is to keep the flash plugin invisible for K-Meleon.
If I want to watch some flash content I have to fire up another browser where I can block flash for good.
Edit: Sorry, I was wrong.

Hm, but when I play a youtube video, it only starts *loading* when I click the arrow. Before not, or the red progress line would be much further already.
Wondering, perhaps it has to do with the Link-prefetching pref?? But no idea.
(in KM16 in F2 > Privacy > Paranoia)
I also keep the pref for embedded objects blocked during normal surfing.

Sorry Siria, my bad. I was wrong.
Tested again and flash content doesn't load until I allow it.
