I have troubled with K-Meleon ver 0.5.
(Starting K-Meleon, "Could not found menus.cfg" and more dialog, and no menu.)
Now I tried ver 0.6, but result the same.

At that time, profiles directories are:

C:\Program Files\K-Meleon\Profiles\profiles.dat
C:\Program Files\K-Meleon\Profiles-1\bmcezvc6.slt\<menus.cfg,etc...>

Next, I tried the option '-profilesDir "c:\Program Files\K-Meleon\Profiles"' ,
it result the same.

Next, I tried '-profilesDir = "c:\Program Files\K-Meleon\Profiles-1"',
started as like installation time, and Profiles directories are:

C:\Program Files\K-Meleon\Profiles-1\profiles.dat
C:\Program Files\K-Meleon\Profiles-1-1\rbds3c0v.slt\<menus.cfg,etc...>

Then, starting with -profilesDir option again, it result "no menu" again.

I want to try '-profilesDir $adddata' option,
but I can't understand what "$appdata" means.

What should I set as "$appdata"?

You need the language pack (assuming you're running a Far East or otherwise MBCS version of Windows, or have the system locale to be one of those languages).

Maybe we need a mini-FAQ to explain this...

I did it!

I did along with the message in that thread.

1) install K-Meleon 0.6
2) restart, then go "No Menu"
3) install K-Meleon 0.6 Language Pack
4) delete "C:\Program Files\K-Meleon\Profiles*"
5) restart, and go well !

Pages in Japanese(Shift_JIS) is shown fine.

Now I'm tring to write this message with K-Meleon.
