Bonjour je suis un nouvel utilisatuer de ce logiciel que je trouve interessant, le poblème est quand je quitte il est toujour actif dans le gestionnaire de tâche et donc je ne sais plus lancer une session sans aller le fermer dans le gestionnaire, merci de votre réponse

Quelle version de K-Meleon ?
Comment a été faite l'install (setup ou 7z) ?
Sans çà , il sera très difficile de te répondre ...

Juju, just noticed in this moment that it's true, and it was really scary!
Am experimenting with KM75.1RC trying to get an extension to work, noticed 75.1 has a new macro bug, wanted to test in 75.0, it didn't have it, then closed it again and started KM75.1 again - but it opened with my 75.0 profile!! And without asking which profile at startup! Couldn't believe it, restarted 3x, then remembered several complaints in this forum already about KM not closing correctly and bingo - KM75.0 stays active in taskmanager after closing!
But it seems to be fixed already in 75.1RC, although that has heavy new macro bugs, sigh.
Remember I'm doing all 7X stuff only on offline machine, with only a few singles of my own macros installed and a bit skin tinkering, otherwise OOB.
All my installs are only unzipped and portable.

Huh?! now suddenly not anymore... I don't get it...
only had opened 74.0 in the meantime, but that can hardly be the reason. Mysterious...
If all else fails, but a real fix would be a lot better ;-)
Can reproduce it now:
- Set KM to open typed URLs in a new window
- type into URLbar an adress that doesn't work for whatever reason, in my case it was "chrome://content/exexcept/exexcept.xul"
- KM does nothing
- Click on X to close browser
==> kmeleon.exe stays running in taskmanager
This happens in 75.0 + 75.1RC (others not tested)
Opening a new TAB is fine, it opens empty. It exists, it can be closed.
Opening in current tab also no prob.
Closing KM by File>Exit also no prob.
Looks like KM tries to open a new window but gets stuck halfway ;-)
@palumbieri: Bienvenu mais pardonnez nous... mon francais n'est pas assez bien et ce probleme un peu compliqué ;-)
, but without more explanations, it will be very difficult to see what is really his problem ...
