Hello. I have been searching for a fast secure browser for an older laptop and just installed K-M. Looks good so far but what do the colors in the search bar mean? I have read different opinions and I would like to know from you that either develop K-M or are long-time users. I am a bit concerned with the security of the browser.

I hope I am talking about the same bar that you call the search bar. I think you mean the URL bar and the colors indicate the status of site if it is HTTPS. The color can be user set so my color may not match your. I have a yellow bar when the site is OK. You can also tell by the little lock in the lower right corner. If the site has mixed or insecure source the color might be pink or another color and the lock will not be closed.
