K-Meleon Web Browser Forum
Hello, little lost here, i'm very happy with K-Meleon but only issue here is when I execute my batch or ahk scripts, like
start http://www.google.com
or
run, https://en.wikipedia.org
It uses K-Meleon as I've got it checked as my default browser but opening sites, instead of a new tab I was expecting, it creates I new instance, then another new instance, etc. So eventually I got dozens of K-Meleons running at once.
It there someway I can force K-Meleon to allow only 1 instance of the browser running at a time, and so it could open my sites launched externally in a new tab?
Hi, you can check the options in F2 / (Browsing) / Window Diversion.
Especially in the flipdown menu for "URLs passed from external applications"

Please consider making tabs the default option instead of windows, for this and other prefs.

Based on Goanna engine, called 'test' builds forever but more stable as 75.1 acc. forum members. It's 1-2 generations ahead of predecessor KM76RC-2016

Ahh thanks, now I got it, working great now!
Now i can uninstall Mozilla Firefox forever!
Why uninstall a working browser?
There is a kmm (K-Meleon macro) that lets You open an URL with FF.
p.s. kmm are be in the Docu or resources of the wiki.

I actually only got K-Meleon installed on my slowest machines, but now i'm just attempted to put them on every machine, since I was impressed how it instantly displayed me 10 pages from a batch script in a split second, unlike firefox which takes 15 seconds or more to render them between freezes, etc (And i thought I just had a slow connection), but yeah I suppose that both can work together with a macro.
