Hi, is it just me, or does the screen goes black for a millisecond when creating a new tab? It becomes apparent if one presses ctrl+t a few times in a row...

Speaking of, how would one change the background color of blank tabs? Thanks!

For this, if I'm not wrong the easy way was removed in latest versions form the classic GUI and from the new about:preferences was buggy.

But you can type about:config in the url bar and then change this preference to the HEX color of your preference:
browser.display.background_color

You can choose a color code from here:
http://www.colorpicker.com/

I actually tried this acceleration thing before posting, no effect.

Yep that's funny, and perhaps actually gives some clue about the mysterious reasons?!

Perhaps a mod could rename the first post, to make the title more descriptive and easier to find? "flash" makes us normally rather think "flash plugin"
